For scientific papers at the international conference «The Gem and Jewellery Industry Today and Tomorrow»
General Information: The abstracts should be submitted in English in Word*doc format. The length of the abstracts should not exceed 3 pages, including tables, diagrams, and figures. The font should be Times New Roman, size 12 pt.The line spacing is 1. The paragraph spacing should be set to 12 pt. Do not add extra space between paragraphs.
The title of the presentation should be in English (centre-aligned). The title must be formatted as follows: the first letter capitalized, the rest in lowercase (except for proper nouns and abbreviations), and no dot at the end.
Example: New data on coloured diamonds of the Yakutsk diamondiferous province
Information about the authors: The speaker, whose name should be marked with an asterisk, is not necessarily the first author. The surname is listed first, followed by initials and in parentheses, the organization name and contact email address are provided.
Example: Author X.* (organization, e-mail), Author Y. (organization, e-mail), Author Z. (organization, e-mail)
Abstracts: Times New Roman, 12 pt font. References must be included in the text, for example (Groat, 2014). Titles should be in bold. If you have diagrams, graphs, equations, etc., they must be included in the document. Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals (e.g., Table 1, Fig. 2, etc.). Captions for tables and figures should be brief but informative. Figures should be submitted separately with a resolution of 300 dpi.
Acknowledgements (optional).
References: Author’s surname and initials, year of publication. Title of the article (or book), journal name, volume and issue number, page numbers.
Example: Author X., Author Y., Author Z. et al., 2010. Journal name with abbreviation, Vol X, pp 12-13.
Important Notes: Abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings exactly as submitted. The organizing committee will not edit or reformat the texts. Abstracts that do not adhere to the formatting guidelines may be rejected.
